General Course Information:
To teach & introduce kids of (10) and up to how to make a basic beat, operate the keyboard (midi) & understand FL Studio. Course Goals
Pending an assessment children ages 7-9 are welcome (Please reach out to us to schedule an assessment)
Course Goals
- Learn how to use patterns, launch & load VSTs, compose rhythms, lead & percussion sounds(drums) & more in FL Studio & Reaper.
| Week 1 | Introduction to FL Studio & Music |
| Week 2 | Learning how to launch, install and operate VSTs (plugins). |
| Week 3 | Creating drum patterns & sequences with other sounds (Beat Making) |
| Week 4 | Last Edits! Followed by Mock Show! |
Course Learning Objectives:
After completing this course students will be able to:
- Understand what DAWs, VSTs, and workstations are.
- Create an 8-bar beat within (Fruity Loops (Fl Studio)
- Operate VSTs & Midi piano
- Create & use percussions (drums/beats)
Required Materials
Computer with Windows or Mac w/admin access i3/i5 or higher (6th gen +)
FL Studio Trial or Full Version
Web camera & Clean mic.
